49 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Nigeria by the nigerian center for disease control, NCDC today bringing the total to 542
The NCDC reported that there are now a confirmed total cases of 542 in Nigeria
In the 542 confirmed coronavirus cases, there are 166 recovered and discharged coronavirus patients in Nigeria
The Nigerian Centre for disease control, NCDC also reported that there are 19 deaths in the country
Lagos currently leads the race for the most confirmed cases in the country with 306 confirmed cases
The federal capital Territory, Abuja (FCT) is closely behind with 81 confirmed coronavirus cases in the country
It is noticed that there is a reduction in the daily confirmed coronavirus cases in the country
With the Nigerian Centre for disease control, NCDC conducting over 5000 tests in the country, there are now a total of 542 confirmed cases
There are now two new deaths from coronavirus and coronavirus related cases
17 deaths were initially recorded before the 2 new cases now taking the total deaths to 19 in the country
The total deaths includes the death of the chief of staff of the president of Nigeria, Abba kyari who died on Friday from the virus
Abba kyari was buried yesterday in Abuja, Saturday, 18th April, 2020 with many dignitaries present
The 49 new coronavirus cases confirmed in Nigeria, Lagos has 23 cases, followed by FCT which has 12 new coronavirus cases
Kano has 10 confirmed coronavirus cases while Ogun has 2 confirmed cases in the state
Oyo and Ekiti states have 1 confirmed coronavirus case each in the states
Kano have an increase of confirmed coronavirus cases since the first case was recorded in the state
