Anambra Clears SS3 Students For Resumption, See Date And Requirements
The Anambra State Ministry of Basic Education has cleared SS3 Students ahead of August 4th school resumption.
Anambra State Ministry of Basic Education has said that only SS3 students in approved Public, Private and Mission schools can resume studies in the state.
The Commissioner for Basic Education Professor Kate Omenugha made the declaration in an announcement signed by him.
As indicated by the Commissioner, school boarders are to return on Tuesday, August 4, 2020, while classes will continue for boarders and day students on Wednesday, August 5 2020.
The announcement anyway coordinated that schools that have not agreed to the COVID-19 conventions and are yet to fill the schools’ preparation for resumption structure, are to postpone resumption until they do as such from 3rd – 7th August.
The statement further requested schools to start immediately to prepare students for the WAEC examination that comes up from 17th August 2020 while students in schools that take only NABTEB examination are to resume on 7th September 2020, as NABTED examinations start from 21 September 2020.
The commissioner advised boarders, who are able to go to school from home to do so while students, who are in the boarding school need to fill the re-entry clearance forms to enable state government track their movement history
