Dangote truck crashes killing six people in Lagos state today also crushing a vehicle and trapping one person at midnight today

The story which appeared on the nation and closely followed by 9jatalkative shows that the Dangote truck crashed into an OPEL taxi which was carrying seven passengers

Six out of the seven passengers died on the spot with only one of the passengers surviving and consequently trapped underneath the truck

The incident which occured at Epe expressway in Lagos state at midnight left six persons dead on the spot from the accident

This is another incident which follows up the previous crash by a Dangote truck which killed seven persons in Ogun state

The OPEL car is reported to have been driving towards the inward lane of the Epe expressway before being crashed into by the Dangote truck as confirmed by Naija News

With the registration number of the OPEL being SMK312ES, it has led to the easy tracking of the vehicle by Lagos government

The accident was confirmed by the director general of LASEMA who revealed that the six persons were confirmed dead and the last person trapped

9jatalkative reports that only one person reportedly survived as Dangote truck crashes killing six immediately as the accident occurred

Director-General (DG) LASEMA Dr Femi Oke-Osanyintolu confirmed the ghastly accident and confirmed that investigation is currently going on saying:

“Investigations revealed that a total of seven people were in the crushed car with six of them having lost their lives on or shortly after impact. Efforts are ongoing by the response team to extricate the single adult man who is alive but remains trapped beneath the silo truck.

“Recovery operation ongoing. The deceased will be transported to the mortuary for processing”

“We also wish to appeal to members of the public to comply with the COVID-19 social distancing guidelines laid down by the Governor, Mr Babajide Olusola Sanwoolu, to avoid endangering themselves as well as rescue workers who are already operating under extremely challenging conditions” he said.

The only surviving person was trapped underneath the truck and the rescue team made efforts to bring out the man alive as Dangote truck crashes killing six in Epe

Recall that earlier this year, Aliko Dangote announced that he will be making more export route terminals for his company
