
The president of Nigeria, muhammadu Buhari declares indefinite coronavirus lockdown due to the increasing rate of coronavirus infection in the country
A spokesman of the presidency identified as Garba Shehu made this revelation in a new statement released from the presidency
Garba Shehu revealed that the lockdown will now last for as long as deemed necessary by the scientists and medical experts
He also used the opportunity to appreciate the efforts of the nigerian citizens during this tough period for complying to the lockdown order
The presidential spokesman, Garba Shehu also revealed that the president appreciates the sacrifices made by Nigerians during this period
He also said that the lockdown directive is in place in order to curb the spread of coronavirus in the country

With the infection count on the rise as reported by the Nigerian center for disease control, NCDC, the Nigerian government have now extended the lockdown order
