FG lifts ban on Interstate travels following the new development in the ongoing coronavirus pandemic in the country and has now lifted interstate movement from July 1
The Nigeria federal government on Monday, 29th of June, 2020 lifted the ban on interstate movement which is to be effective from July 1, 2020.
9jatalkative News confirms that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation chairman Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19, Boss Mustapha made the revelation today
Boss mustapha disclosed this during the daily media briefing in Abuja, Nigeria earlier today, Monday the 29th of June, 2020
The National coordinator of PTF, Dr. Sani Aliyu also added that only fifty percent of the passengers of the buses are allowed during travels.
Confirming this update, Dr. Sani Aliyu said:
“Only 50% of the passengers are allowed with compulsory use of face mask”
The presidential task force also confirmed that the continuation of the nationwide curfew between 10pm and 4am is still in place
Confirming that the PTF said:
“Travels are not expected at this period.”
