Approved dates for national examinations

Approved dates for national examinations has been released by the government.The exams have been scheduled to start August 17 and end November 18, 2020.

Minister of State for Education Hon. Chukwuemeka Nwajuiba made the announcement yesterday in Abuja, after several meetings with Chief Executives of examination bodies in the country.

Summary of approved dates for national examinations

West African Examinations Council (WAEC-SSCE)- 17th August 2020

National Business and Technical Examinations Board (NABTEB)- 21st September-15th October 2020

National Examinations Council (NECO-SSCE)- 5th October-18 November

Basic Education Certificate Examinations (BECE for JSS3)-24th August-7th September 2020

National Common Entrance Examinations(NCEE) which is a one-day examination for intending applicants into unity schools-17th October 2020

Registeration for NECO-SSCE which is on-going will end on the 10th of September 2020 and there will be no extension for registration whatsoever.
