BlackLivesMatter John Boyega mourns Toyin Salau after the lady was found dead after tweeting about a man who sexually assaulted her following the protest
The Hollywood actor John Boyega has joined the list of people across the world mourning Toyin Salau, a black lives matter protestor
Toyin was found dead after she tweeted about her sexual assault on her social media handle a few days ago
If you recall the 19-year-old Tallahassee, Florida-based Black Lives Matter activist of Nigerian origin had taken to Twitter to share the story of a man that offered her a free ride but later assaulted her sexually.
In the social media post, the lady wrote;
“He came disguised as a man of God and ended up picking me up from nearby Saxon Street.
I trusted the holy spirit to keep me safe.”
Writing that she then went further to give detailed description of the man’s appearance:
“Mid 40’s lives in a gray painted duplex apartment-style house drives a white clean Silverado Chevrolet truck.”
The Tallahassee Police Department has since said that she was found dead after the tweet she shared on her twitter handle
And the news stirred heated reactions on social media, with many people asking the police to seek out the man she described in the post
Now the popular actor, John Boyega has joined the world in mourning the lady who mysteriously died after the tweet

“Been trying to even find the words and there’s none. She died unprotected. Things like this just hurts”
