News coming through today is that 6 of the 51 coronavirus patients have recovered and are set to be discharged today from the Lagos isolation center
This was revealed by the Special Assistant to the Lagos State Governor on Health, Dr Tunde Ajayi today in a new twitter post
He made this statement via his official Twitter handle where he revealed that there has been significant progress among the patients
THE PUNCH also reports that this remarkable recovery brings down the previous confirmed cases from 51 in total as at yesterday night
Dr Tunde Ajayi reporting that 6 coronavirus patients are set to be discharged made this update via his Twitter handle saying:
“Six of our #COVID19 patients have recovered and will be discharged soon. There is something Lagos is doing right. Lagos takes the lead”
The nigerian center for disease control, NCDC, also backed up the statement made by the special assistant to Lagos state on health in a statement via their website saying:
“Out of the 51 confirmed cases, two have been discharged, while one death has been recorded. Lagos has 32 confirmed cases”
