Rumours have been swirling around that frontline health workers in Lagos state are to receive 5000 naira for each day they take care of the coronavirus patients
While speaking to journalists in a video recorded by channels TV in Lagos state today he debunked the rumours saying that Lagos health workers not earning N5000
The governor of Lagos state Babajide Sanwo-Olu revealed that the frontline workers are not being paid the money everyday
He however confirmed that there will be an increase in the salaries of all health workers in Lagos state
He also stated that even the drivers who normally earn N20,000 have seen a significant increase in their pay

Recall that Lagos state recorded three new deaths as a result of the dreaded coronavirus disease which we reported
