Lagos records another 3 coronavirus deaths today following the confirmation of new coronavirus cases in the state, read more here on this page
This was revealed by the commissioner of health in Lagos state, Akin Abayomi today
He made the announcement while addressing some nigerian news network on Saturday, 18th April, 2020
According to the lagos state commissioner for health, Lagos records another 3 coronavirus deaths with two being male and one being female
He also confirmed that the three patients who died had previous health issues
Recall that the nigerian center for disease control, NCDC reported that there are new confirmed coronavirus cases in the country
Akin Abayomi confirmed that the deaths of the patients were as a result of underlying health issues they had before contacting COVID-19
He confirmed that there are now a total of 286 confirmed coronavirus cases in Lagos state as of today, Saturday, 18th April, 2020
Speaking of this new development to the Nigeria news network, he said:
“32 new #COVID19 cases were confirmed in Lagos on April 18, 2020 and the total number of confirmed cases in Lagos now stands at 286”
“Sadly, Lagos state has now recorded 3 more deaths bringing the total number of #COVID19 related deaths in Lagos to 13 for the state
“The deceased are 2 males and 1 female aged 52, 63 and 67 although Two of the dead patients had underlying health issues.
