Massive fire breaks out in Ajman market UAE
There was a massive fire outbreak at a market in Ajman, an emirate in the United Arab Emirates located about 30 miles from Dubai. This broke out on Wednesday evening barely 24 hours after an Explosion in Beirut Lebanon.
While the fire did not cause any deaths or injuries, parts of the market completely collapsed and burned to the ground. Authorities raced to the scene, blocking off the area where an investigation will be launched, he added.
Several firemen were dispatched to the scene and they took over four hours to manage the burst. Fefence teams were sent out to divert traffic until the blaze was brought under control.
The fire reportedly broke out at around 6.30 pm and no injuries have been reported, said Gulf News.
Workers at the neighboring markets told reporters that flames quickly engulfed the area and sent thick plumes of black smoke into the air.The nearby Ajman Speciality Hospital was evacuated as a precautionary measure.
Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the market had been shut for a while and there weren’t many individuals close by.
