Nigeria records 11 new cases of coronavirus according to the Nigerian Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported a whopping 11 new cases of the dreaded coronavirus in the country, 9jatalkative reports

The disease control centre giving a full breakdown of the confirmed new cases stated that 8 of the cases were confirmed in Lagos, while 2 were found in Enugu and just 1 case confirmed in Edo State confirmed by Lailasnews

The NCDC said:

The cases of the COVID-19 has risen to 81 with 3 have been discharged and just 1 death has been recorded

This recent report by the NCDC is coming few hours after there were confirmed five new cases of the dreaded coronavirus, Nigeria records 11 new cases of coronavirus in the country

This brings the total new confirmed cases of the virus to a total of 81 as Nigeria records 11 new cases of coronavirus today in the country

The Lagos commissioner for health, Prof Akin Abayomi, on friday said that Lagos State may be seeing up to 39,000 cases of COVID-19 in the state, given the number of cases being confirmed recently

Also, Nigerian celebrity artiste, Davido has also reported that his wife to be, Chioma has tested positive to the coronavirus disease yesterday night

In other news he Ekiti State Governor, Kayode Fayemi, on Friday confirmed that his coronavirus test result revealed he is negative of the dreaded COVID-19 virus

He said:

I can confirm to you today that my coronavirus test result is out and I tested negative to the COVID-19 virus

9jatalkative also reports that the United States of America Government has announced a 7 million dollars grant (about N2.6 billion) emergency health and humanitarian aid to Nigeria to help fight the (COVID-19)

This forms virtual part of the 275 million dollars (N103 billion) assistance aid to no fewer than 63 countries affected by the dreaded COVID-19, this statement was made by the USA yesterday

Nigeria keeps getting donations to fight the virus from internal and external sources, yesterday Femi Otedola also donated 1 billion naira to Nigeria for COVID-19
