Russia covid19 vaccine Sputnik is now officially registered as a coronavirus vaccine after successfully passing the required testing stages
Russia has now become the first country in the world to register a well know coronavirus disease vaccine and declare it ready for use.
The vaccine which is named ‘Sputnik’ will not be available for public use until 1 January 2021 after it has been released officially
This was confirmed by the official website of the State Register of Pharmaceuticals earlier today which reported the new update
To assure the public of its efficiency, President Vladimir Putin said that one of his daughters has already been inoculated with the coronavirus vaccine
The new coronavirus vaccine from Russia was developed by the Gamaleya Research Center as a solution for the virus infections.
Binnopharm JSC and the Gamaleya research centre are also listed as manufacturers of the new coronavirus vaccine
It is also reported that the vaccine will exist in two different forms one being as a liquid and also as a freeze-dried one.
Recall that the virus has also been very rampant in the Philippine as the President Duterte in a late night address said he sees a COVID-free December
This is because Russia has offered to give free vaccines to the Philippines between now and the month of December, 2020
The president of Russia, Vladimir Putin also emphasized that the vaccine had gone through the necessary tests and has proven to be very effective
He also confirmed that the coronavirus vaccine is offering a very long lasting immunity from the coronavirus disease
Speaking at a government meeting Tuesday, the president of Russia, Vladimir Putin emphasized that the vaccine has undergone proper testing and proven safe to use.
“I would like to repeat that it has passed all the necessary tests,”
“The most important thing is to ensure full safety of using the vaccine and its efficiency.”
