Governor Sanwo-Olu pays visit to TVC management days after its station was razed down by hoodlums during the recent protests in Lagos

The CEO of TVC( Television Continental) Andrew Hanlon revealed that the event was traumatizing because people’s hardwork and investment were destroyed

He said:

People’s hard work and huge investments that went down into the TV station were destroyed in a period of about an hour. The incident was really traumatising for all of us

Hanlon also disclosed that not less than 250 employees were out of work as a result of the damages done while others were presently struggling to make do with what’s left

According to him,not only were buildings destroyed but expensive equipments were looted from the station

After they invaded our premises and set the place on fire, some buildings on the premises survived. But the main transmission building is completely destroyed, and it was the hub of our operations.

Sanwo-Olu paid the staff and management a sympathy visit to console them over their losses
