Recall that last week Seyi Makinde had initially tested positive for the dreaded COVID-19 disease
He was immediately taken into isolation and started his treatment process

Seyi Makinde confirmed this news update via his official Twitter handle where he thanked medical professionals and the COVID-19 task force

The acting head COVID-19 task force identified as Professor Temitope Alonge also received special thanks from the Oyo state Governor
Making the announcement that Seyi Makinde recovers from coronavirus via the verified social media handle, the governor of oyo state wrote:
“I, Seyi Makinde, am deeply moved by your prayers and support throughout this tough period, I am so thankful for everything”
He continued saying:
“This evening, I got my 2nd negative test result for coronavirus and I especially thank Professor Temitope Alonge who acted in my position as the Head of the Oyo State coronavirus Task Force during my absence”
Seyi Makinde finished his statement saying:
“I also thank all members of the Task Force for their cooperation during this period”
- Seyi Makinde recovers from coronavirus and reveals he will be getting back to work following his successful recovery from the COVID-19 virus saying:
“I will be resuming my duty as the Head of the coronavirus Task Force from tomorrow”
The virus has now gotten to over 200 cases in Nigeria with 5 deaths recorded by the nigerian center for disease control, NCDC
