Governor Ganduje cries out in fear over coronavirus cases which is on the rise in Kano state after a large number of deaths was recorded in a short period of time in Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje has expressed fears about the increasing cases of Coronavirus in the state and said that they started the fight against the virus Yesterday, the leader of the Presidential Task Force committee on coronavirus revealed that the mysterious deaths in Kano state was caused by coronavirus disease Dr Nasiru Sani Gwarzo who spoke on Sunday, said the recent deaths from the test carried out established that Coronavirus was the cause of the Kano deaths Reacting to the increasing number of COVID-19 cases in the state, the Kano Governor said the state is in trouble because they started the fight against Coronavirus on a very shaky ground This was made known in a press statement released by Ganduje’s Chief Press Secretary Abba Anwar, where he also blamed the delay in testing suspected cases for the increased cases of Coronavirus in the state. Governor Ganduje cries out in fear over the ongoing coronavirus outbreak in Kano state saying; "There is no doubt that Kano is in trouble. And there is no doubt that we started on a shaky foundation." "When samples were taken to Abuja for 7 hours and came back again in 7 hours, that was the shaky foundation I am talking about." “We then lodged our complaint to President Muhammadu Buhari, who ordered for the establishment of a Testing Centre at Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital, which after take-off was shut down for some days if not weeks.
