The burial of late Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile, the Nigerian Air Force (NAF) first female combat helicopter pilot took place today

Her body arrived at the National Cemetery in Abuja earlier today with honouary awards

The Nigeria Air Force (NAF) had last week revealed that Tolulope Arotile, Nigeria’s First female combat helicopter pilot, was hit with a car driven by her ex-classmate

Tolulope Arotile who died at age 24 as a result of head injuries she sustained from the accident at the air force base, Kaduna

Recall that the accident took place at the Nigerian Air Force base in Kaduna state.

The name of Tolulope Arotile’s ex-classmate who drove the vehicle that hit Nigeria’s first female combat helicopter pilot as “Mr Nehemiah Adejoh”

The NAF spokesperson also said the case would be handed over to the Nigeria Police Force being a civil case.

The dignitaries who attended include top military officers from the Army, Navy, NAF, members of the National Council for Women Society(NCWS), among other dignitaries
