Two things snatched away from Nigerians says Fani Kayode

The former Aviation minister of Nigeria, Femi Fani Kayode, has rated President Muhammadu Buhari for taking away our dignity & self-respect from Nigerians.

9jatalkative reports that President Buhari made it known that he is doing more with scarce resources than past governments in Nigeria did.

President Buhari claims it in his nationwide broadcast to mark the nation’s 60th independence on Thursday, October 1.

President Buhari in the national broadcast, rated Presidents that governed Nigeria from 1999 to 2015 before he took over, saying that they went ahead in destroying the country.

Former President Olusegun Obasanjo, late Umar Yaradua and former President Goodluck Jonathan were in charge of Nigeria during the period Buhari mentioned in his broadcast on Thursday.

President Buhari said:

“No government in the past did what we are doing with such scarce resources.

We have managed to keep things going in spite of the disproportionate spending on security.

Those in the previous governments from 1999 – 2015 who presided over the near destruction of the country have now the impudence to attempt to criticise our efforts.

In the circumstances, a responsible government must face realities and take tough decisions”.

Lamenting on the attack Fani-Kayode said:

“It is sad that Buhari attacked Obasanjo, Yar’adua & Jonathan in his speech.

This is a case of misplaced aggression, an expression of frustration & an acknowledgement of his own failings.

OBJ, UMYA & GEJ gave us back our dignity & self-respect.

PMB came & took them back from us”.
